As a hobby, Dewey has maintained an interest in music as a songwriter, DJ, Rapper, and Musician. He has DJ’ed parties for Tupac, Paris Hilton, and many other hip-hop avenues throughout Vegas and Los Angeles. His love of music has driven him to open a record label and helped develop artists for them to enjoy. Corresponding with the relevance of his lifestyle as a pugilist, he named his record label “Head Trauma Records.”

In 2009 Cooper was invited to fight for the first time in Guangzhou, China. Since then, he has been a very popular fan favorite as a fighter and an entertainer all over China. In many cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Zheng Zhou, Luo Yang, Nanning, Haikou, Ganning, etc. Both fighting and performing rap shows at all the mentioned cities in China. Dewey “Black Kobra” Cooper has quickly become a star in the Wu Lin Feng in China and has been featured in Chinese magazines as well as featured many times in Chinese newspapers and CCTV aired all over the nation in China!
